Harriette M. Steinberg, Esq.

Harriette M. Steinberg holds a Juris Doctor degree from Hofstra University, where she later taught Aging, Public Policy and the Law to graduate students. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association; New York State Woman's Bar Association; Nassau County Bar Association; National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; and Nassau County Woman's Bar Association. She is a past Director of the Nassau County Bar Association, where she chaired the Elder Law, Social Services, and Health Advocacy Committee, Women in the Courts’ Committee, and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee.

Harriette has maintained her law practice on Long Island for the past thirty years.

She has been honored by the Family and Children’s Association; Town of Hempstead; Distinction Magazine; Long Island Center for Business and Professional Women; and Visiting Nurses Association of Long Island.

She has acted of-counsel for fellow attorneys on matters pertaining to trusts, estates, related tax matters and elder law. For over 15 years, Ms. Steinberg has studied alternative forms of conflict resolution and recently expanded her professional services to include Mediation and Collaborative Practice.
